Can you imagine being excited one week because you got a brand new job at the death star, but a week later some rebel scum blows it up. Hey Sarah I finally found a job, oh that's great honey:) One week later....BOOM. A wife, that lost her husband because of extremism aka Jedi religion.

@Japanese Ghost The rebels were always blowing things up. The Jedi should of also freed anakins mom, I mean how heartless is that....dang Jedi's!
@Japanese Ghost Yoda passed beyond the 4th wall, and realized that if they didn't allow all these things to come to pass, then the later events (which already happened) could not be. Thus, if the Jedi HAD taken logical steps in the prequels, George Lucas would have gone back to retrofit Episodes IV, V, and VI to be consistent with them. We all know how well that works out.
If they would have saved his mom, Anakin may have never turned. If they would have just used the dang force and realized that Senator Palpatine was an ass bent on destruction, the best 3 shows would have never happened...
