All I remember about the old Transformers cartoons was that every few seconds it would do that CG transition effect from one scene to the other... I still don't know what the plot ever was...
@etarakupu So, you are that young? The original Transformers didn't do that transitioning every few seconds... if I remember correctly. I may by getting this confused with TMNT.

@Japanese Ghost No you are right, I think it was the second series that did that transition every few seconds, which kind of ruined the show.
@Nathaniel7 Here goes the conversation again ;-) What the heck happened to @etarakupu ?

@Japanese Ghost I was rather young when I was watching it, so maybe I've just forgotten any plot points and only payed attention to that transition thing. But the one I watched way back in the 80s most certainly did it, and that's all I really remember about that show... maybe it wasn't "CG" persay, dunno.
@etarakupu Yes, annoying.

@Japanese Ghost Yes, I remember all those... vaguely... I might have gotten the CG thing mixed up with another cartoon all together, but it seems like it was transformers, because the screen would sorta "freeze", then the shot would zoom out, and the shot would be attached to some sort of metal something or other that would transform and move around, and in the process another screen would be presented and the camera would close in on it, then the cartoon would continue.
@etarakupu Okay , if you say the 80's version does the CG transition then I must have been thinking of when they rebooted the Turtles.
When I was 4 years old I got up at 6am to watch The Transformers, He-Man and G.I. Joe. I unfortunetly indured Jimmy Swaggart before He-Man came on...
Hmm... I think ThunderCats came on also.
